Firstly: There is nothing wrong with the imam leading a congregation in praying Taraweeh without praying Witr, so that everyone can pray Witr at the end of the night, and there is the hope that they will be included in the hadith which was narrated by an-Nasaa’i (1364), at-Tirmidhi (886), Abu Dawood (1375) and Ibn Maajah (1327) from Abu Dharr, who said: We fasted Ramadan A simple way to calculate the exact time, would be to divide the night in three portions. The beginning of the night would start at the start time of ʿEshāʿ. The conclusion of the night would be at the beginning time of Fajr. So if ʿEsha commences at 6 pm and Fajr at 5 am. 2:30 am would be the start of the last third of the night.

As per astronomical calculations, Ramadan is set to begin on March 23, and on that day, Fajr (morning) prayers which mark the start of the fast, at 5:02am and Maghrib prayers (sunset) at 6:35 pm
